CJS Programs
Whether its through holiday celebrations, traditional Jewish-food making demos, or Yiddish song performances, CJS programs create meaningful experiences for seniors.
Please note that our programs are open to all regardless of background or affiliation.
Enrichment Workshops
Residents will enjoy hands on activities such as challah bread making, matzo ball making, and Jewish themed art projects. (45-60 minutes)
Shabbat Blessing and Songs
Celebrate the Jewish sabbath in a way that is both traditional and meaningful. Seniors will enjoy home baked challah bread, grape juice and traditional Shabbat songs.
(Usually booked for Thursdays/Fridays; 45-60 minutes)
Holiday Parties
Celebrate the Jewish holidays with a party that includes traditional songs, foods and stories that are unique to the special day.
